For products aimed to women only, instead, a female voice was perceived as more natural, convincing and reliable than that of a man. The female voice sounds less aggressive, softener and welcoming, which make the lister more comfortable and inclined to trust.

How old is the voice you are looking for? The age of the speaker is not as important as you might think, because, you can have a mature voice at 20 and a young one at 60.

The choice of the maturity of your voice depends on the target, the perception of your brand and the product.
